Hip Hop, Pop, and Rap
Here is my philosophy on hip hop, pop, and rap music.
Now, all three are music. No one can deny this. However, it’s cheep and easy music. I came up with an analogy:
Steak is food. McDonalds is food. Steak is wholesome and amazing. McDonalds isn’t amazing, but it’s cheep, greasy, and mostly tastes good, but I wouldn’t eat nothing but McDonalds. Its for every now and then.
If you listen to nothing but cheep greasy music, you’re missing out on all the flavors this world has to offer. To take SCC (out of context) its like playing a gameboy in the middle of the grand canyon. God has given us so much to experience and in the end give Him glory for all that He has made. Every song you listen to is another 3 or 4 minutes gone. Its done. What will you experience? A big mac, or a filet mignon?
