Can you even imagine?? Observing the glory of God on a whole new level; my goodness… I wanna do so many things in just one life, and one of those is be an astronaut.

Watch the first minute or two of this video
Then look at this picture

Each fuzz of light is a galaxy
Then read this verse:
“He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names.” - Psalm 147:4
Wow
“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” - Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV
The very idea, that the creator of the universe would forgive us, His enemies, after time and time again of utterly despiteful sins against Him is remarkable. If this verse doesn’t blow your mind, read it again :)
Glory to God forever!!!
It may seem like people can be constantly getting you down, but compared to what Jesus has done for you, it’s not even comparable. In fact, Paul said in Romans 8 that “the sufferings of this present time nare not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” (Romans 8:18 ESV) What a remarkable thought yet so hard to believe. Try to invision every suffering the world faces right now: murder, death, torture, pain (even emotional pain), hunger, thirst, losing a loved one; the list goes on. Consider even the mass genocide the Nazi regime committed. Then realize, that none of is is worth comparing to the glory God will reveal to us; wow. Just wow. What a marvelous thing to look forward to; a purpose to endure that which stands against us!!!
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” ~ Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV
The thought that Jesus, while suffering to the highest degree, was looking forward to the joy that would be gained when we were freed from sin. Just wow. You have to understand that not only was Jesus going through immense physical suffering, but deeply spiritual suffering as well. It says in the gospels that Jesus was crying out “My God my God, why have you forsaken me?” because God Himself turned His back on Jesus as He took on every past sin, every current sin, and every future sin of man. What an utterly, awe-inspiring, awesome God we serve!!!
A clip of when Apollo 8 read Genesis 1 when they saw the earth rise over the moon. Utterly awe-inspiring.

A common misconception. Reformed theology doesn’t solve the mysteries of God, it simply shows what the Bible says, go deeper into what it says, and discovers new mysteries each day making us humble and worshipful towards God. Wouldn’t have it any other way; happy reformation day!! :]
